And I just want to let everyone know that the Marius in the pic is Peter Lockyer.
Peter is the very first Marius that I saw onstage and he is lovely.
Gretchen and I were standing in front of the theatre in San Francisco when we saw La Boheme and I looked up the street and saw Peter walking in our direction. It was really really weird. I was thinking "Ooookay, what is he doing in San Francisco!!??" Then I remember that he was in the show. So I turned to Gretchen and told her who he was and, Gretchen being Gretchen, said "Well go after him!!!" And I was like NO WAY. The man is on his way to work. I'm not going to bother him. And actually, I would have felt odd talking to him right on the street like that. That's something Gretchen would do.
