Trying to get through finals without thinking about Istanbul too much. I need to make a list of the things I have to do before I leave. This week I have to fill out the application for my visa and send it off. I am also trying to be more aware of the things I take for granted every day. I'm in my car so much and I think I might miss having the convenience of a car, even though the traffic in Istanbul can be so bad and public transportation is good. The main bus terminal in Istanbul, the Büyük Otogar, has over 160 ticket offices and gates, a Metro station, a mosque, a clinic, restaurants, a police station, shops and a hotel.
